More than 150 middle school students were honored on-stage at North High School for outstanding achievement in a variety of categories. Each DMPS Middle School was represented at the 1st Annual Stellar Awards and each student took home a standing plaque and a book, highlighting the quality recognized that evening. DNR Teaches Students to Plant

Seventh grade science classes at Meredith Middle School is planting trees with the Department of Natural Resources. They’re learning how to properly plant and mulch. The trees will shade the school and block the wind, reducing heating and air conditioning costs, and they will provide a habitat for birds and animals. Click the image to learn more.
