The Halls are Alive With Music at Meredith

Thanks to a grant from Prairie Meadows, the halls at Meredith Middle School are alive with the sound of music, fresh from the packing crates. In total, the grant funded 205 new instruments around the district, including 78 for the band and orchestra programs at Meredith. Some 230 students are enrolled in band and, until now, 50 of them didn’t have an instrument to play. Click on the headline to read more.

Meredith XC Runners Make Dash for Shoes

Monday’s cross country practice, except for a little different route. Thanks to support from Shoes That Fit, the first leg of the team run ended up at a nearby Famous Footwear store, where each harrier got a new pair of running shoes.
