Huskies Win Big!

Huskies on a mission takes first place in the Black History Game Show competition at Iowa’s African American Festival last Friday, January 26th.  The students were challenged with questions from the following categories: Africa, Salute to Motherland, Brains, Brawn and Business, African Achievers, Dramatic Significance, TV Cinematic Influences, Innovators and Dreamers, African-American Inventors and Iowa African-American History and Civil Rights. They competed against 6 other middle schools across Iowa and found themselves competing for first place against the team who beat them their first round. Huskies on a Mission took home a trophy, medals, $300 and pride!
