Students as Teachers in PE

8th Grade Physical Education students participate in the culminating task of the Team Oriented Activities Unit.  Students were responsible for teaching the class a complete lesson that culminates in a demonstration of coordinated teamwork. 

Here, a group of students demonstrates a step-dance to the whole class.  Students would later learn the dance in small groups and then perform for the whole class.  Students were evaluated on their ability to present an organized, detailed lesson and provide positive feedback to the participants.
