“Cross Country is a physical and mental sport. Running long distances definitely takes physical endurance but it also takes mental strength. I coach Cross Country because I enjoy seeing how athletes progress through the season. We start the season off trying to run one mile without stopping; by the end of the season, athletes run at least four miles. Their pace, stamina, and confidence improve throughout the season. I have always enjoyed running. It is a great way to keep in shape as well as help with mental health. Running helps me clear my mind and I hope through the years, it helps athletes keep in shape and help their mental health as well. – Coach Alibašić

**All participants must have a current athletic physical on file with the school nurse & verification to coaches before participation is allowed.
